Ben McElligott — Firn Media

I'm an Austrian photographer and filmmaker specialising in remote alpine environments. My work combines cinematic storytelling with an active climbing and mountaineering background — multipitch routes in the Gosaukamm and Totes Gebirge, alpine traverses, and long days that start well before sunrise. I shoot on a Sony A7III and edit in DaVinci Resolve, and I plan every production the way I'd plan a climbing day: route, conditions, turnaround time, and a safety margin built in from the start.
